In 2004, Kaushal’s life took a new turn when Scotch entered it. More than just a pet, Scotch was family – and their deep bond ignited a passion that would eventually shape Kaushal’s mission in life. Frustrated by the lack of high-quality, nutritious treats available at the time, Kaushal took matters into his own hands – literally – by baking homemade biscuits in his kitchen. What began as an act of love quickly transformed into a purpose-driven business idea.
With a never-give-up attitude, zero tolerance for compromise, and an insatiable eagerness to learn, Kaushal immersed himself in the world of pet nutrition and food science. Drawing from his 12 years of experience in engineering, he developed a keen understanding of food processing methods that preserve nutritional value without compromising on quality or taste.
Over the years, Kaushal has worked closely with nutritionists, food technologists, microbiologists, and veterinary professionals, gaining in-depth expertise in formulating safe, balanced, and effective pet food products. His dedication and hands-on approach have earned him recognition as one of the leading minds in India’s pet food industry.
Today, Kaushal’s vision and drive have helped transform B&K Products into India’s first OEM manufacturer of freshly made, high-quality pet food and treats – designed specifically for the needs of pets in the Indian environment.
